cards and mugs

The world downs over one billion cups
of coffee every day.

That's just over a sixth of a cup
for every person on the planet.

I received this postcard from Cafe P11.

Please try his coffee if you can.
and a post and video
were up on April 5.

Was told this is a typical street in Antigua.

Thanks LF!

I received a mug this week from Bri
at A Dog Painting A Day.

Both he and his wife are active artists,
although he paints and she makes ceramics.

Later last year I made a coffee compilation
CD, some people exchanged art, others
simply received the cd package.

This was their kindness for the CD.

Thanks to you both!

I'm now learning altered art using books.
Among other things I'm trying to learn.
That's why I've not been around much
lately, although I do tend to take quick
peeks at some blogs over my breaks at work.

Later this week I'll be posting a
video and music collaboration between
hR9 and myself.

Until then, Cheers and hope U R all well!

a sixth of a cup, so... everybody gets one espresso, that it?

Cute mug. As for the postcard, I'm much looking forward to my bougainvillea looking like the one on that wall!

I know someone who'll be delighted with the blog on dog paintings - passing it right along, thanks.

Altered art sounds like fun. Looking forward to your take(s) on it.

Cheers, cm.

The same to you, my friend.

Love the mug & the song-- very peppy like Bob Wills... made me think of jim jarmusch and his film "Coffee and Cigarettes" ~ great film, and funny when Steve Coogan and Fred Molina are totally different -they have tea and biccies and save their ciggies for later... I got my whole family addicted to espresso.

wings: OK........

dcd: You're too kind!

rlb: Er, a mug like this certainly isn't for espresso.....but I know you know that already.

lettuce: I've wondered the same thing.

merle: Thanks ; )

street guru: Er, thanks, although I've not as yet seen your blog or even received a comment, until now ; (

squirrel: Thanks and it's always nice to receive sincere comments, caffeinated or not ; )

now you've got me imagining a wee tiny demi-tasse version of the mug - call it a 'muglet' perhaps? :-)

Great Toon! Who is that singing?
Would you like a copy of the new Dylan?

C.M., is there any-thing above "coffee hound"? I'm your typical 10-20 cup a day drinker( more when I'm travelling ). I like the mug. Much better than the ones I gave away, as souvenirs from my trip!
