watching the river flow

This is the Eel River behind our house,
below a driveway that separates us from
a couple house's below us.

The river should be flowing on the other side of
the trees in the middle of the river.

There's a water table above us,
and this one below us.

This water table thing is hard for me to comprehend.

Nature sure is amazing.

Man, it'd be cool to have this behind our house instead of apartments! Beautiful.

yH8: Funny thing is, most of this was snow melt. Supposed to get 10 or so more inches 'tween today and tomorrow too.

H9- How much of this water do you want? With the next snowfall and melt, there'll be plenty more. And yes, I must admit, it is a much prettier site than a bunch of 'partments!

I hear the weather is going to be pretty rough over the next few days. Hope all is well there. Sure is a pretty river. Do you see much wildlife out your window?

robin: For here, too much snow and more to come. May have to wait until tomorrow to shovel out! ; )

Oh, most wildlife in these parts are the "loons" they call "hoosiers!" ; )
