Thought I should add something for
after the debate.......

The Sons Of Champlin were a Bay Area group
in the 60s/70s.

Those were more innocent times, eh?

Scenes like these play themselves out in packed auditoriums too, yes? And not only in the States, I am sorry to say. Reminds me of conversations I once had with some denizens of a campground in Florida. Logic was not a significant part of the mix. I'm sure The Penguin would have been elected in a landslide.

Soooo...eyes forward, onward and upward. Good, strong coffee over in your world, good strong tea on this side of the pond.

Have a good one, cf.

I'd say mccain was definitely channeling the penguin tonight...

megan: Ironic those scenes were/are! ; )

merle: Yes and no....

rlb: Logic seems to be the missing link, eh? ; )

kimy: Sometimes it's just too much to take. ; ( They better keep this election stuff down to a year. 2 is 1 1/2 too long. Although, if it were short, we'd not find out about the wonder woman of alaska now, would we have. ; (

mary: Scary really!

annie: Loosen Up Naturally is still one of my favorite albums. I was surprised, but someone I work with who grew up here knows and has their albums also. ; )

kurt: And says nothing too ; (

lettuce: Glad you saw it. Those were the days.

t & t: How can this be? It's been 2 yrs? ; (

annie: Naive is more like it.
