Needing coffee and being asked by2 co-workers to learn about fresh
coffee, I made a trip to this roaster
yesterday. Luckily, the owner was there
and after talking for awhile, was told
that there is a shortage of Mocha Java
beans, of which he has some aged hidden
away. He made sure I left my number and
when he roasts a small batch, I will be called
to pick some up. Mocha Java and Sumatra
go very well together, if you have not tried it.
He also asked if I had tried this Aeropressyet. I hadn't and waited for the line of people
to slim down so they could make me a cup.
Let me say, it's been awhile since I've tried
a contraption for coffee. They made me a
cup of the Kenyan and from beginning to
end, the process is so fast and easy and uses
a paper filter, rather than metal. The flavor was
fantastic and the filter can be re-used.

the ten days I was at em's house I used a french press for my morning coffee..... this morning is the first day I've been back home and back to using my trusty braun coffeemaker ... maybe it's the beans but both methods seem to produce the same excellent cuppa....
I wish I knew more about coffee. I do love the blues though.
A paper filter that can be reused? Very interesting concept.

t & t: The filters are real small and you can rinse them and re-use a few times.

You can buy fabric filters over here. After awhile, you soak them in water with baking soda and there as good as new.
Dennis likes the look of that old roaster and and the idea of blending Mocha Java and Sumatra.
Dennis appreciates delicious black coffee.
The paper reusable filter is intriguing, though Dennis is a no frills coffee drinker--no sugars, no milks, no extras to buy.
