Laughter is the sun,
that drives winter
from the human face.
Victor Hugo
==================================
Our electricity came on Fri evening, but friends a few
blocks N of us didn't get theirs until Sat evening.
Guess we were lucky.
The ice is thick and we woke to -25 this morning,
and wouldn't you know, we have to start an
hour early this week and a 9 1/2 hr day.
It's 9 right now and our high tomorrow
is supposed to be 12 or so, before the
next round is supposed to make it's way here.
Despite it all, we are very lucky people,
aren't we?
Wishing ya'll the Best!
Cheers! ; )

Cheers back!
I don't know if I could handle 12 degrees...
well I am feeling very lucky...electricity, heat, food, spirits, blue sky, a little white stuff and what more could anyone ask for?
cheers!
We live like kings compared to many. My best to you.
minus 25 - jiminy cricket!! it was cold here, but not that bad! glad your electricity stayed on! hope things warm up for you, when it's that cold it does tend to make one want to hibernate and do little else...
megan: The beauty of this weather, once it hits 25-30 degrees, it feels very warm ; )
colette: I'm with you there ; )
merle: Isn't that the truth!
kimy: The wind chill is what does it. Last year it at least waited 'til Jan for this kind of weather.
Feels nice and warm at 30 degrees over here too - oops, you're talking Fahrenheit, I assume :-)
Neat collage and great song, as usual, cm.
it's the wind chill alright! the weatherpeople here try to factor it in, they'll say it's 28 degrees but it feels like 2 degrees.
Merry Christmas and Happy Solstice to you. Kick back a double espresso today? I'm going to.
xx
rlb: Thanks ; )
anon: It's always the wind chill ; (
reya: To you too ; )
