delicate balance

I apologize if I left anyone out.
It's been a wonderful year, full of many surprises
and many wonderful people I've met here.
Tom Dundee, I met and heard a few times
when he stayed and sang at my friend Davids
through the years.
He died in 2006 but wrote one of the most
poignant songs I ever heard and remains
a favorite through all these years.

Thanks for the video, it sure gives food for thought.
Great vid and song. Seemed like a great guy, too.
Thanks for the inclusion, cm. Deeply honored.
To be a part of what everything is says it all quite beautifully. Thanks for including us in the delicate balance here.
thanks for another wonderful collage! it's nice to be included in this coffeehouse of love! enjoyed the vid - tom's voice sounds familiar but I'm sometimes awful with names....although I expect I've never seen him perform.
a shame another talented person who died too soon.
taking an unexpected blogging break -- too much happening here on the north coast. I'll be back to my routine or reading and writing posts after the new year!
it is all such a delicate balace indeed!
keep on keeping on! happy new year!!
It is indeed great to be a part of it all and feel like you are (although I am slacking)!
I love the line in the song
"And between every minute and mile that is in it
Somehow there is a beautiful face."
I appreciate all the beautiful faces that cross my lifes path wether or not I actually "see" them.
PS-I got rave reviews on Christmas for my new CD.
Wishing You All The Very Best For 2009.Keep The Coffee Hot!
What a wonderful video! He seems so nice. I always love knowing what kind of music musicians listen to.
And oh yeah, build your house with love, by all means!
Nice portrait of you and your blogfellows.
Happiest 2009 to you. Onwards & upwards!!
A wonderful and poignant song for the end of one year and the beginning of the next. Devil discouragement; how true. I try to keep him/it/her at bay.
Happy New Year to you! May you continue in your creative endeavors. And thank you for my mention in your great collage.
We've listened several times to the holiday CD; I'm saving the coffee for the new year . . .
