How very strange to rely on a travelling
laptop in order to look at the internet.
No, there is no evidence of "warchalking"
in our neighborhood, but should be.
These times are like those of the
hobos from years past, for many.
Although I have not received the email
I was supposed to receive from my contact
from Dell in Mumbai, tomorrow I will invest
another 1/2 hr in hopes that my operating
system CDs are really on their way.
I look forward to reading more of your blogs
and appreciate everyone who has responded
so kindly with their comments.
I certainly have not gone out of my way
to be recognized and have found it
daunting simply keeping up with the
few people who did leave a comment
prior to last week.
I am glad to see a few people from outside
the united states leave comments and links
to their blogs. This has always been my hope
in blogging, to share with those we are not
in contact with face to face and to show
we all are interested in their lives and activities,
not just our own.
Thanks again for your visits and if
all goes well, I'll have access to my computer
and scanner etc later this week.
Cheers!

You are absolutely right about blogging and virtualy meeting loads of new people from different countries and cultures some with similar intrests and others that introduce to stuff you didn't knoe existed
I've found Dell's service to be okay. Though it's definitely not fun, they've gotten me out of a jam more than once. Good luck, hope you're back in commission soon.
Haha! I know right, I've been blogging since 2007 and only now have I begun really exploring this "blogworld" and realizing how exciting it is. :D Thanks for the inspiration!
your blog is a delightful discovery.
cheers!!
I'm brand new to this, but I'm enjoying your blog. We share at least one thing in common. I was drinking a hot cup of Indonesian Sumatra when I came across your page. Fitting!
Wow! I just posted that Pagudpud trip like 5 minutes ago. Haha. :p Thanks and more power.
My best to you and your quest with Dell.
What a nice surprise to find your answer in my blog ... kind and friendly. I am sure that the restoration of Babel lacks little, that we can at least turn a smile. I am very happy of the thought
I forgot ... even if a clear late 2009.
Greetings Carlo Parma Italy

:)
Awesome site.
What a cool cup of global coffee! Best of luck with your laptop - technology is great when it works, but is a head-wrecker when something goes wrong *lol*
Coffee Messiah,
Thank you for leaving a comment in my first post. It meant so much to me...since I did not expect anybody to leave a comment. But, I'm glad u liked it.
I also love your last post - A world in a cup. Fascinating! How else can you say it...blogging has changed people's lives by creating a virtual connection different from that of chatting, and that other stuff. I agree with recluse - what a delightful discovery!
Hello Coffee Messiah. I am new to BlogSpot and randomly happened upon yours. Let's get this party started! Anything to do with coffee feeds my soul. ~ Chlorista
Hi! C.M.,

What a "wonderful" saying...I don't
have to add anything more!...Other than I "hope" that your PC is functioning again real soon!
dcd ;-)
Great blog!!
I really enjoy your blog! I too, discovered it recently when it was a 'blog of note.' Best of luck with your computer!! I wanted to let you know I am featuring Coffee Messiah as a 'Site to See' on the new arts & culture ezine I have here at blogger. You can come check it out if you want! The post is at 'Sites to See,' Today's features list is at Vue Centre. You'll see! I look forward to being a regular Coffee Messiah visitor! I love your quotes, especially the Lao Tzu, (I love quotes too), and the Van Gough night cafe painting is one of my favorites... The more I think about it, the more I realize our sites, though different, have a similar *ambiance* and a lot in common! Happy to find you! *Best!!*
Ooooh those bad Dell reps, they didn't tell you they gonna send those CDs by slow boat, did they?! I pray they sprout wings and get to you quickly.
Found you several days ago and think of all the blogs I've visited I've enjoyed yours the most on a cerebral level as I am a quote freak not to mention a caffeine junkie. Caffeine is to me what morphine was to the person in the Stones song Sister Morphine -- "Oh, I dont think I can wait that long / Oh, you see that Im not that strong" -- gotta getta cuppa! Bye, Ani
Love your blog, also love coffee :) Im from Mexico City and Im new at this blog thing so wish me luck :)
have a nice day!
I just discovered your blog. It's completely great. I haven't seen anyone use the center-alignment thing in a long time. It makes me misty and teary eyed, all at the same time.
Love,
Forever,

The world literally on my desk before me and my beloved cat asleep beside it. I wonder how my grandparents would react to blogging and the Internet if they were still alive.
The a wonderful coffee cup pic.
Hey Coffee Messiah, just wanted to drop a line to say I love your blog! If that shot from Seattle is any indication, it appears we're both living in the great Northwest.
I'm also a fan of fine coffee, zen and fine-art images, having been a pro photog in a previous life. (The world in bubbles is great).
My blog is new, a bit more serious than yours, but if you check it out don't give too much weight to my label. Things are not always as they appear. Happy new year.
I thought I should add my little..."coffee bubble" to this beautiful blog.
I love blogging myself for the exact same reason...the interaction is just amazing and you get to 'read' about the lives of so many different and interesting people.
Your blog is fantastic and I am going to follow you! Thanks for the beautiful picture!
greetings from Greece
Love and peace
xoxo
hey the traveling laptop works pretty good. although I expect it's not as easy for you to post (if it's anything like working on the little netbook that I recently got).
great picture!
only 1/2 hour talking to tech support in mumbai - you are lucky!! a few wks ago f and I tried to help a friend get her internet back up and running.... all told we both invested almost 4 hours on the phone over two days trying to get her back on.
cheers and cheerio!!
You are famous.
You deserve your fame! This is a great blog --plus what Megan said.
" The more he helps others, the more he benefits himself " is so true. some people are blind to this, not seeing / understanding the complete range of "benefits" (some seem like hard lessons but there's always a benefit) Lao Tzu must have been a total live-wire! Not afraid to put himself out there.
wonderful outlook on blogging.
I've just started.
I just love the photos and artwork on your blog. Keep up the great work it really is wonderful. As a coffee connoisseur I can't help but enjoy this stuff. Thanks for putting up great work, it is great eye candy.
I'll keep my fingers crossed!
remember the song about the girl who held the world in a paper cup ? what was that song?

Hope your computer troubles go away soon =)
All the best on your new purchase!

I love the quote! Thanks for sharing.
Good luck with the blog to come...
I've learned a lot about coffee from this blog, and am having an espresso and a bagel right now. Yay!
I like your blog! Please check mine out, it's a funny look at the life of a teacher who is also a first time, stressed out mom to a growing boy. A unique look into friends, family, and parenting.

This is why i love "Blogs of Note" - helps me to find great blogs like this one.
Thanks for the beauty.
I'm also a coffee addict and I found your blog simply delightful.
Howdy! I'm just getting back to reading. That is exactly my hope concerning blogging.
I was amazed to see so many comments, then saw you had been recognized for your wonderfully wrought blogging.
I hope your disks arrive and your machinery is back.

And t, Sidamo is good ; )
its amazing how u come up with these simple yet absolutely cool and effective pictures each time! love this one :)
n: It's a great one, isn't it....
Great piece coffee, we are all connected. If only the warring world knew this. Thanks again
howto: Thanks for stopping by and of course we are connected. For many, they don't seem to understand, sad, isn't it? ! ; (
You have got a great outlay on your blog. Your content is mind blowing. Keep all the good job. That map on the cup of tea says it all. We are all connected; Jews, Muslims, Christians, atheists. If He had wanted, God would have made us of one creed, race and culture. Our diversity should be a source of inspiration. But lol, it is of hopelessness and grief.
