I haven't clicked on the music yet, because I want to hear "Dooooonut police, I've given all I can, it's not enough" in my head for a while...

Glad you're back, CM.

Have a lovely weekend!

Over here, cm, you would get a Petit Jannot (Little Johnny) with your morning coffee: a local specialty that's basically a sweet bagel with anise seed incorporated in the dough. If you take two, you can hold them in front of your eyes and prented you're an owl. Little children find that funny, but the strolling policeman may stare at you a bit.

Love the badge and the montage and the song. Nice to have you back.

Happy last day of February to you. I like your Lao Tzu quote.

f brought home donuts on tuesday from a friend actually they were "paczki" - which is just a different name for 'fat pills'

since they didn't enter the house until 8 pm on tuesday I ate one on wednesday thus not adhering to the entire mardi gras donut eating tradition ....

but since I don't do lent, I figured that was okay.

happy weekend!

I love the graphic and the tune! Made me laugh after a week with not-so-nice news. I hope we get to hear more about your doings in Chicago. Happy week's end!

dc: Thanks ; )

marianna: ; )

rlb: I prefer bagels myself. Like hot dogs, I always want to try one in chicago, but somehow can't bring myself to do it, with all the other great food available. I keep trying donuts, but they're never so good, and overly sweet ; (

t & t: Thanks ; )

kimy: Back at ya ; )

e: There wasn't much thought there but it was a quick "put together" and I like the song.

cg: Thanks! ; )

Haaa! The donut paradox. We used to drive around Los Angeles in our teen years and someone would always yell "WiNcHeLLs!" to the driver.
(winchells meant slow down, drive smart, there are donuts ahead) sure enough, as we cruised slowly by we'd see at least one police car at every donut place.

squirrel: I remember winchells and they were really good, as I remember ; )
