Hi C.M. Interesting melody( I'm a sucker-fish for a good string section ). Sounds like steel drums in the background( I've heard high note like this, on them )or maybe a xylophone? I'm giving this another listen. I like it.
I felt really chilled out listening to the track..its becoming a bit of a musical education visiting here..I keep diving for wiki to check out these artists!
subt77: Yes, steel drums they are. It's been a favorite of mine since I first heard it. I never get tired of it.
reya: Never read much on the Druids, and may be true.
rlb: Hey, Thanks so much ; )
cinnamon: Both photos photographers unknown: Gospel car New Jersey, 1920. 2nd photo used: Oklahoma 1939 at a religious meeting near a river. That's all I could find out. They're both great photos on their own too. Thanks for asking, as I wondered if anyone would.
mouse: Thanks ; )
jgh: Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment ; )
ve: and a very good album it was.
willow: Thanks for stopping by and not to worry, we'll still let you play ; )

Hi! C.M., I listened to singer Harry Nilson, song first, (Because like so many of your readers know that if you post the music stop!...)Secondly, I checked out! your poster and photograph...nice! Thank-you! DCD ;-D
auntie: Have you ever heard of Jonah and The Whale? That's the illustration, from a spanish book written in 1940 something if I remember right.
kris: They seem to be the catch of the day. Thanks for stopping by and joining in!
megan: It is and has and will be interesting. A creative bunch, to be sure.
cj: Thanks for stopping by and joining in. If you were the whale, and Jonah was inside you, I believe you'd be a might angry also.
squirrel:Nilssons latest works are impressive and it seemed as though he were hitting his stride again. Sadly, money aside from his health was a big issue when he died. He also left an album that has not been issued. Hope it sees the day. TT are always interesting. Thanks for starting it up ; )
Hey, I liked that fish-r of men comment. I used to hear that quite a bit when I was in Seminary. Loved the picture. I'm now going to listen to the sound clip. I'll get back to you about that

The cycle of life-never heard it described in this way, before. A relaxing, yet haunting tune. I still like it.
Love the song and the graphic. Salmon are supposedly the wisest of the animals, according to the Druids that is.
great graphics and song, cm.
and the beat goes on - but as any salmon could tell us - some of the run is more like raindrops trying to go UP rather than DOWN. :-)
Best to Indiana.
Tell us more about the second pic..

what a magic song - I don't recall hearing it before....it is perfect!
wonderful graphics.... more magic!
I hear something fishy. Great song.
Oh...Nilsson schmilsson! Wait...that was an album...
The Jonah artwork is delightful! I love these theme Thursdays. Sorry I missed yet another, but do plan to participate next time.
I had fish for dinner last night.
I can't get that string section out of my head...
Wonderful, as always, CM!
I love your blog entries...so musical and imaginative!
great picture as always...

peace and love
xoxo
I will have to come back and listen later tonight when I'm home.
I was right, I am getting no work done today...
;)
Wow you're a creative possum. I used to love Harry Nilsson, didn't realise he's still around. I'd like to know more about the second pic too!
That song was magic. Just what I needed today. Thank you!

Hi Coffee,
I had salmon for lunch today:
I have fish in my tummy.
That drawing is a bit scary:
The fish has a person in HIS tummy.
It's all about the salmon!
I am now bouncing back around and listening to everyone's musical offerings on the altar of Theme Thursday. What an eclectic bunch we are, to be sure!
I like this one very much.
I really like that melody. That was cool. Thanks.
That fish, up top, seems very angry.
I never heard that Nilsson song before and I though I knew all his stuff.
Nice artwork ~
Exhausted by all the amazing fish posts! a dizzying number. What a success!
