circle of coffee

Coffee - One who is coughed upon.

When we first opened our coffeehouse,
we started purchasing some supplies

locally from Coffee Zon in Indianapolis.

We also had our Cimbali cleaned by them.

The following short video was taken
a few
days ago at B java in Indianapolis.
Although
we make our own coffee at home,
we do look
for good quality shops when we are out.

We finally made it here and met Bj,
the owner and Sandy, the roaster,
who
was kind enough to let us film her.

Long story short, it seems not long
after
we stopped purchasing from CZ,
Bj started
working there until they closed.

Now Bj owns B java and the coffee we purchased there
is very good and the
espresso was smooth
and had a nice
chocolate flavor to it.

I have lived in Indy all my life and never heard of this place. I will have to check them out! Cool, thanks for the post.

I see. So a 'coffer' is the one who coughs and a 'coffee' is the recipient of same. Makes sense to me :-)

Vid: Could almost smell the result - and I loved the way she cocked her head for the 'snap, crackle, pop'

Enjoy your brew, cm.

You Make Movies Like Alfred Hitchcock! i.e. you make a "cameo Appearance" in each one! In this one,I saw your left leg reflected in the machine!!!!!

My mother's family is from Indianapolis. I used to visit there every few years with my family. I remember certain things: the Solders & Sailors Monument, chiggers, Brown County, the Brick Yard, everyone cooking with cream & butter.

Can you tell that was a long time ago?

mmmm when it breaks that center seam apart... the end result looked delicious.

(that booklet looks highly readable) I'm going to go through the booklet barrel at the thrift shop to see if there's anything on Coffee.

srg: Not sure about their other drinks, but the espresso is mighty fine. Let her know you saw it here
; )

rlb: At first, she was hesitant, but later, after finding out we knew a bit about coffee and the process, she opened up. I had to cut it down so as not to bore anyone ; )

dakota: Thanks for taking a look.

tony: You gave me an idea. And you're the 1st to have noticed or said anything ; )

cg: Since I'm from Ca, I have only experienced the chiggers, brick yard and the circle ; )

avid: Thanks for taking a look see ; )

merle: Thanks for watching.

subT: Thanks for watching.

megan: Thanks.

interesting.... I felt like I was watching a program on the history channel.... too bad 'they' haven't figured out how to convey smells....bet the roasting smelled great!

I take it having one's Cimbali cleaned is a good thing, as opposed to having one's clock cleaned?

-naive about the ways of coffee

Do this machine had a program to set roasting curves?

marianna: Thanks.

dcd: Thanks for taking a look!

candi: It was nice.

kimy:It was long and cut it short since most people tend to hit and run.

artspark: Ha, ha.....both are a good thing, although the Cimbali was our espresso machine.

cafep11: It's a Diedreich roaster and she was watching and notating everything as the temp would either rise or fall. Sorry, that's all I know about it.

Great Serge song too!

mark: Thanks for looking!

dc: Thanks.

e: Thanks for taking a look!
