theme thursday = earth

Sometimes Indiana can give the illusion
of what it must have been like when the
Native Americans lived among what's
left of the natural habitat.

The land you show reminds me so much of the 'up North' part of my memory bank . And the sound of the birds, specially that woodpecker - you know he's going to get his lunch out of that tree, for sure.

As for the song, it's right on, as usual. Love it, both the lyrics and Russell's voice.

Thanks for taking us along. Have a great day, cm.

There is are areas in the Point Reyes National Park (as seen on mouse medicine today) that have Native Americana preserved...a teepee sturcture on the shore accessible by a winding path being the most dramatic.

Wonderful post! Thank you for the walk through the natural habitat. I love all things natural, that's why I lived in a wooded area.

The song was nice also, I had not heard it before.

Hi! C.M.,
Wow!...what an experience, especially, if you listen to singer Tom Russell, and watch the video at the same time.
I must admit that I had to start the video over again!...because Tom Russell, song last 47 minutes longer.
Tks, for sharing!
Deedee ;-D

dd: Thanks, I did not want to use the song over the "sounds".....I had plenty more footage but wanted to keep it short.

ronda: Thanks for coming along.

dakota: It's nice these areas, isn't it. Tom Russell is well known by many, yet not all. A strange thing since his song writing is so exceptional.

tom: But did you see it? The WP that is?

auntie: There was quite an echo from the beaver pond too. No one has noticed their work ; (

artspark: Spent many a weekend in Pt Reyes and then in Bolinas ; )

robin: Thanks ; )

cg: Thanks for stopping by .

wings: Thanks.

rlb: Thanks and you too.

tony: You'd think I weighed 200 pounds or something ; (

jgh: Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to watch.

candi: Thanks.

brian: Thank You.
