It's beyond me how anyone who lives in the USA and who believes that "life liberty and the pursuit of happiness" are founding values of the country can even question health being a basic right for everyone.

but then, I guess some folks just don't pay attention to what they are honoring when they look at a piece of cloth on a flagpole, yes?

cheers and good health to you and yours, cm.

Hi! C.M.,
When it comes to Mahatma Gandhi, and Carl Jung's
quote(s)...Let the truth be spoken and what both men said, is so very true.

I will listen to the sounds on my way out the door.
Thanks, for sharing!

What Ghandi said is a lesson our politicians and a whole bunch of right-wingers have yet to understand...

Oh, woe is me...

I do believe that I heard that south africa now has a national health insurance plan! which of course means......

Coffee Messiah said...

dd: Thanks and I continue to wonder why those making the decisions who do have care, do not want others who can't afford it, to not have it. Perplexing ; (

e: Thanks and I do understand what you are feeling. We have not had any insurance in over 12 yrs now ; (

lw: Thanks for stopping by!

kimy: Amazing and perplexing, especially since those who continue to fight it, are so christian minded? Huh?

I love this. What a great poster it would make...but then we'd be polluting the highways!

cg: Yes, there's too much pollution already ; ( It's a farce in dc, but maybe something will come of it?
