drawing challenge

This exercise was initiated by:
ArtSparkTheater
a few weeks ago.

Although it is to be a drawing challenge,
you wouldn't want to see my doodles.
I was given the OK for a collage.

My submission follows.

This is how I come up with anything
I do like this: I pick one image, put some
music on and in less than 15 minutes as
a rule, I land at the finish line. If I
try to make a project "something in
particular" it takes me way too long
to finish. I enjoy these though and
Thanks Art Spark Theater for
letting me join in. Check her
blog, as she's linking others
who actually drew and I've
already seen some
outstanding and
creative
work!

Creativity is inventing,

experimenting, growing, taking risks,

breaking rules, making mistakes,

and having fun.

I'm opening a second window to listen to your music selection because I looked at your collage to the sound of a local Gypsy band - and believe me, it worked great.

"Open our heads and the pictures come" - exactly right.

Love the collage (even in the bigger version I can't make out what's on her head though.Or is it the original bun in ArtSparker's drawing? Do tell.)

Love both of the quotes, too.

cheers to you, cm.

C.M. way cool interpretation. This had to take longer than any drawing, to assemble! And good vibes on the music :)

kimy: Hey, Thanks. Amazing how different we all go through any process.

dd: Thanks for stopping by, appreciate it.

lettuce: Funny about that, as I didn't plan it. When it was finished, I was surprised to see it had lined up over her head. Of course, she had to be hanging out at the coffee shop ; )

Love your interpretation. I also like the fact that most of the free coffee in the work place isn't liked by the workers.

C>M., I hear that! I bring a full thermos to work, everynight. Tho' the other vet who works there makes a couple of pots a night with ***shudder*** store brand coffee...( note: we are allowed to requisition only the store brand...eeerg! )

subT: Yep......guess that goes without sayin' ; )
