Blogging, like most things, doesn't necessarilygive the impression you think you're giving.
For me, it's not how many comments I
receive, more like maybe meeting others
from somewhere else to exchange thoughts
and ideas. At least, that was what I thought
blogging was about, and to connect elsewhere
in the World also.

I'm glad I met you in the blogosphere this past year, Mr. Coffee.
That's one of the things blogging is about, yes. A big thing! Maybe the biggest. But there are other aspects as well. As my brother commented once at my place, "you are willing to blog about things that you would NEVER talk about."
So many of the people I interact with regularly (work, neighbors, other parents at the school, even some of my own family) are wonderful folks, but just not on my wavelength. Blogger connects me with people who are.
Sorry to ramble on. Maybe I should go write a post... :)
Very cool clips.I remember the mid to late 60's. All over the country, maybe the world christian coffee houses were becoming popular.People would gather at any number of days.study the bible, worship,or just a rap session.young people by the hundreds and more came into a relationship with God and one another.
What made it such a phenomina it was reaching and drawing in the young people the fundemental churches were turning away. And above all something was happening. It was a very powerful time in the spiritual world,,,,

nikg: Thanks for stopping by. From what I've heard, while in Viet Nam, it was so isolated and lonely, the messages he put out there were welcomed. Not sure if it changed any minds, but sure some were.
