hey, once I got into the link from democracy now, I realized I did see 'the people speak' a while back on pbs!!
have a great weekend - expect it's a cold one there as here, but at least it looks like we may have a rerun of yesterday's great weather - no wind, so temps in the teens aren't bad at all!
amazing..and seeing the tears of the audience...the horrors and trials many Europeans endured through those dark years!
"yep, it makes no sense, but what does anymore?" lol.

Hi! C.M.,
The video was restored and all I can say is...Wow!
I must admit that I'am not familiar with artist Kseniya Simonova, from the Ukrainian.
But, I really like her uses of the giant light box, dramatic music,(I was unable to hear the music...)
imagination and "sand painting"
skills to interpret Germany's invasion and occupation of Ukraine during WWII."
Very emotional reaction from some people in the audience.
Thanks, for sharing!

I don't often know what you mean but I like what you do! :)
That certainly puts the word 'creaticity' in quite a multi-faceted context, but I couldn't disagree. Sounds like Ms. Simonova richly deserves her citation! Love the picture of the toddler! Ha!
P.S. I nominated you for the Happiness 101 Award! Stop by to pick it up!
great collage and quotes.
I saw this Youtube video before and it is very moving and amazing-- I am always amazed at what artists come up with using new ways to express themselves
Thanks for all your kind comments and for taking a look at the video!
