it's just a thought

What can I say?

from google images

The Beatles made their debut on August 29, 1959,
at the Casbah Coffee Club, a converted coal cellar
in the basement of a Victorian house in Liverpool,
England. George Harrison, Ken Brown, John Lennon
and Paul McCartney, known as the Quarrymen, helped
decorate the club before they played.

Hi! C.M.,
Unfortunately, I'am not familiar with the Beatles' music, but I'am
aware of them after checking them out over there on youtube.

C.M. What a very interesting and nice collage.
By the way, I'am experimenting with collages too...I didn't realize how much like a puzzle it(collages) is...and trying to put the pieces (images) together.

Thanks, for sharing!

I feel so darn un-artistic! Is that a word? Yes, I know "that" is a word. I meant "un-artistic". I'm too lazy to look up.

Wow. So you could launch the next big act, no?

dd: Thanks. I'd like to see what you are doing......

cg: Don't feel bad, me neither ; (

emerging: If it came to that, I could, but it would not include any of the american idol types I keep hearing about from others ; )

Lovely collage, and yet another little anecdote here about the greatest band in history that I didn't know. So the Casbah Coffee Club was where it all started. Interesting. But coffee was't the drink was it? I am thinking here of 'tea.' Ha! Wonderful post!

what gives this one punch is the

shadow of the figure on the right.

You have such a subtle hand.

I don't know who else to turn to, to find that connection! -J

sam: Not sure, since any information on the beatles or the club, never mentions drinks or food ; )

kimy: Thanks for stopping by. Hope the film fest is going well!

grrl: Er, not my doing. That is part of the actual painting by Gustave Caillebotte circa 1875. I was indeed thinking of putting the animal with the book in the reflection, but haven't mastered that yet in PS.

j: Thanks!

Hi, I just popped in from Maggie's Garden. I saw the name coffee and I love coffee myself. I buy
Kenya AA coffee beans and that coffee is the best I've had yet. I have the Beatles first album and I knew of them well in those days. Take care. Nice blog.

Standing with legs apart conveys so much to the circumstance, and there's a story in it.

And even if you cannot see his face as he looks on, you still know what the face is like, and maybe why as well.

I wish that I could get into the Beatles' music but I can't. I do like the collage tho'.

BTW, I got a call from someone from your neck of the woods last week. Small world, no?

tom: Those were the days for lots of good times, including music!

anil p: It does not surprise me, from your writing, your ability to see more in this picture. Thanks for that!

simstone: Great and hope it was a large sale 4 U!
