warmth reheated

"Ain't it funny how coffee
never tastes as good as it smells?

As you grow older, you'll discover life
is very much like coffee.

The aroma is always better
than the actuality.

May that be your thought for the day."

Walter Slezak
from the film: Born To Kill

And for those of you creating art,
check this link. I believe they are
signing up to 500 people,
or until the books are gone.
I signed up a week ago

and they are close to 200 now.

Hi! C.M..
Hmmm...(As I scratch my temple-I knew that this quote looked very familiar...It was taken from one of my favorite film noir.)
Thanks, For sharing...
...I most definitely, will check-out the TroyArt link...being an artist, but of course!

Oops! I was so "busy" checking out the quote and link...That I forgot to mention...very nice or at least "unique" graphic(s) and sounds.

Sorry to bre a spoiler but I actually don't agree at all. With age we come to appreciate all aspects of coffee equally in a more balanced manner.Enjoy!

too true about coffee...i know several people who won't touch the stuff, but love the aroma. Your art piece is more surreal than usual..perhaps the b&w effect has something to do with it...cool

dd: Thanks for stopping by and taking a look! Hope all is well.

von: Thanks for stopping by. If you'll notice, it's a quote about coffee from a film. ; )

tom: Not true at all, but then, life is indeed different for all folks. As for the collage, that was the intention.

Most of life is about learning to savor the here and now. I think that gets easier with age.

Well, how true is that?!

The Troy Art video with the cherry blossom tree is engaging. I've always wanted to own a cherry tree, and remember as a kid how obsessed I was climbing a friend's tree and filling my tummy with tart cherries. Lately I've been drinking organic cherry juice *tart cherry* Ha!

Love the eye-tunnel ref in this piece. What does a story 'line' look like? -j

Oh yes, it smells better than it tastes most times. More so when you turn into a street and smell Coffee when you least expect to.

j: Thanks for stopping by.

anil p: I bet it's amazing there when that occurs.

Yes, I like the aroma but I don't like the taste. It's strange because most things taste exactly like they smell, if you know what I mean(!)

As I sit here enjoying my morning joe I am not only enjoying the aroma but knowing that the taste is just the beginning of another great day!

Have a good one all!
