Tom - most were taken at Asherwood Nature Preserve in Wabash County, off HWY 124 - they rehabilitate animals (birds) and then let them loose again - some of the other shots were at Hathaway Preserve, also in Wabash County - check out Acres Land Trust - we hope to get to all their preserves sooner or later -

What a lovely scenic walk in the woods in Indiana (I can almost "smell" the fresh air too!)...I also like the "pointers."

Thanks for the tour. I feel calmer already. But that is quite a long hike to either of the poles!
