yes we do live in an abstract world and we do want people to 'think' when they view our art works-- well, I certainly want to think when I look at art works

tom: I am on a mission to meet one of the folk artists that have been around, but always come to a dead end. Here's hoping.

layers: This seems to be contrary to a majority of society, as we look around us. Thanks goodness the arts endure!

Interesting video! Thanks for sharing. Folk art is a world of its own and I hope this art endures in the future!

Great clip. What a great beard, what a great voice, and his ideas seem so right on and simple. -J

Just did some quick research on Mr. Webster and found he is an accomplished artist in the Hoosier State. Folk art is a specialty that needs to be explored by a number of people who have little exposure to this kind of abstract form.

gabby: Folk and outsider art are both amazing. And that those people are outside of the norm, makes their work more enticing. Thanks 2 for stopping by!

j: Simplicity is the key, I keep telling myself, in all facets of life.

sam: Thanks for taking a look and even looking further. There are amazing folk/outsider artists, everywhere.

He has some incredibly succinct statements about art and people and the need to create.
