dear diary: Peace in every step

banksy

the rich long for heaven,

but the wise long for a state of tranquility.

And the hungry hanker for a hunk of cheese. (And possibly alliteration).

Cheers

they should change the saying to "money can't buy you tranquility"

I know we can't apply rational standards of behavior to Bush, but why do you think he chose now to antagonize the Chinese by meeting with the Dalai lama?

Tranquility for some, is almost an impossible task to achieve. Why does it seem so allusive? I wish I knew the answer to this question. There are those that walk this life (both past & present)that seek such a condition of living. Yet, it seemingly evades their grasp, just as the monkey tries to reach for the reflection of the moon in the water.

A good piece here Java Man. My apology for not commenting earlier. I have been pathetically overwhelmed with draining the swamp while alligators are attempting to lock me in their death-roll!

Shalom to all!

I know for sure that we all don't want the same thing, 'cause if we did, the world wouldn't look the way it does.

Peace would sure be nice and like John Lennon said "Give Peace a Chance".

However, with the current administration I don't see how that's possible.

And I have said many times that while there are those who believe that the next election will bring change, change that is desperately needed I don't believe there will be elections in 2008.

I found this on another site I link to and felt I needed to leave it on most of the sites I link to.

I hope you don't mind. If you listen you will hear what I have been saying about the elections in 2008 and its coming from a Democrat. Even though its in another context.

Here's the reason the Democrats won't impeach Der Fuhrer Bush or the Dark Lord Dick {Heinrich Himmler} Cheney.

Watch this short YouTube of Ralph Nader explaining why.

No Impeachment.

We really don't have an opposition party.

God Bless.

fairlane: Yikes, I always thought it was illiteration ; )

raffi: As they say on the street, "whatever!" ; )

mirth:I firmly believe there's no rhyme or reason to anything spoken out of DC. If those that choose the issues, simply go after "moveon" or "little kids in need" well, what can you say? ; (

hawk:I like your analogies and all is well here!

robin: What can I say?

anon: Thanks for stopping by and sharing. Again, what can you say really, anymore? ; (

ocean: Thanks for coming by! ; )

Nice quote and it's so nice to feel that tranquility when it comes because it really does from time to time. I hope y'all are having a tranquil one today. Peace baby. ~ RS ~

ruby: That seems to be the key, accept it all when it does arrive! ; )
