Ross Rheume - Snow Removal in 1900

“And the Grinch, with his Grinch
feet ice cold in snow,
stood puzzling and puzzling,
how could it be so?
It came without ribbons.
It came without tags.
It came without packages, boxes or bags.
And he puzzled and puzzled 'till
his puzzler was sore.
Then the Grinch thought of something
that he hadn't before.
What if Christmas he thought,
doesn't come from a store?

What if Christmas perhaps,
means a little bit more?"

Dr. Seuss

Hey, Coffee, greetings and Xmas wishes from down under where it continues to rain and things have never been greener at this time of the year.

I'm tempted to say the drought is over but it only takes a fortnight for things to change completely once summer bites.

I'd love to be in the snow. It makes the world look less harsh, less ugly.

Peace.

i don't envy those folks- even if they did get paid. shoveling snow is hard work. i always forget that it's summertime in the other hemisphere :)

dcb: Didn't you get yours yesterday? Also, Thanks for stopping by! ; )

daniel: My best to you and yours also. And I agree, snow makes things seem lighter all around, at least for awhile.

betmo: That painting showed the hard way, to be sure!
