Voting in indy-anna is quite the experience.
We go near Manchester College,
a small liberal arts & peace studies school.

There was a small line when
I got there after work.

Here are some results:

In an earlier post, I mentioned our
neighbor running for office.

In District 5, Chester Kelsey and the others
were running against Dan Burton.

He didn't do too bad for his first time.
Here's hoping next time he wins.

Nice showing Chester!

circa 1971-72 @ Larkin & Vallejo St, SF, Ca

I heard a story yesterday that surprised me,
and one too embarrassing to relate here.
I'll simply say, I felt as if I were maybe
back in the 20s or 30s! ; (

Anyone care to guess?

Dennis is feeling blah, but he's going to take the advice of that song and strike a careless pose.

Chester, you did your best!

Chester almost won.

dennis: Hope U R feeling better. It's always a good thing to strike a careless pose! ; )

kurt: For a 1st time, he did quite well. I'm thinking next time will be the charm. He's certainly smart enough and untainted enough to be quite good at the position.

I'm hoping to be his private barista! ; )

Your neighbor really did have a good showing for a first run. I hope he tries again.

Are you going to give a hint about that embarrassing story?

squirrel: Why am I not surprised you're up on the migratory birds? !

taco: Perry who? The song is actually Fred Lowery with the Anita Kerr Singers! ; )
