Ethiopia - story HERE

War is a poor chisel,

to carve out tomorrow.

Martin Luther King Jr.

=====================================

I want to Thank Kimy @ Mouse Medicine for taking
the time to see this exhibit and to send the
photos to me. I am hoping we can get to Cleveland
very soon, to see this and other interesting sites.

The article above the exhibit photo is from
a post from here early on, and thought I
should bring it out again, since it coincides with
the exhibit and using remains of war for purposes
other than for killing.

war sucks, peace rocks!

If I had money, I'd buy one of Mr Azmeraw's coffee machines over a Cimbali any day.

Thanks to both you and kimy for the Morgan reference.

And many sha-la-la-las to sweethearts everywhere.

Cheers to Indy and Anna.

gotta say I enjoyed "live for today". My gosh I haven't heard that song in YEARS. I was in high school when they were popular and people really liked them.

Out of the terrifying war between Eritreia and Ethiopia over claims in the Horn of Africa, with hundreds of thousands people killed. comes Mr. Azmeraw's wonderful coffee machine made from mortar shells.
I would love to have a cup of coffee made with one of his machines!

kimy: Hey, Thanks again and will make a point of a visit.

rlb: I am wondering if he's still doing this. Looked as if it made a decent coffee too. What ingenuity.

lettuce: 2 be sure!

cg: It's almost as if it were yesterday, sort of. Simpler times compared to now though. ; )

celeste: It took quite an imagination to think of doing this. Wish I could meet and hear his story.

megan: Thanks.
