Stampart Zine # 4, 1983
Abracadada, SF.
Not sure how many people sent copies in.
Books like these, usually you'd make anywhere
from 50 - 150 copies of your work, they'd then be
assembled and a copy would be sent to all who
submitted.

Being one of the thousands laid off this
past week, without pay until we return
on the 5th of Jan, I was reminded
of this button that was sent to me
by Pagrat, the Ratgirl.

Enlarge if you can't read.

It's easy to comply, really.

Dang! Sorry to hear of the lay-off and hoping it's only temporary...

And I like the one with the ants and bombs :)

Thank goodness you're only off a week. Make the most of your time and try to find solitude and reflection.

I wish you a joyous new year.

oh my gosh, I have fallen so behind on the CM!!

all caught up.... so much since dec 10th that I missed!

wishing you the best and crossing my fingers that no one pulls any sneaky shit come 5 january.

am sure you will appreciate and make the most of the time off.... hopefully the lack of a paycheck won't put too big a wet blanket on things.

Cool pics ... I love the cartoon with egg ... Interesting because I designed my studio logo with the egg form in mind.

I hope that one week you are off is all ... I've had several this year myself due to people supposedly waiting for other people to make decisions so they can all agree to make the final decisions about decisions that I had assumed had already been decided weeks earlier. Serenity Now!!! Serenity Now!!!

bes: Thanks for stoppin' by.

tony: Same for you and your family!

subT: Since I'm the one man show for this job, I'll be going back and there's plenty of work for me and our dept. Some real strange decisions in this place.

cg: I hope your move is finalized and that you both are settled in.

robin: Same to you and Roger. We are already only working 4 days, but this does take a bite out of bill paying.

artS: Glad you took a look.

kimy: It's been a wet blanket all year. Sometimes I wonder how this company survives at all with how they think ; (

simstone: I'm curious how your logo looks ; ) Yep, when others make those decisions these days, they don't come too quickly or easily, do they? ; (

cafeP : Thanks and to you and your family!

tom: You betcha! ; )

Hi! C.M.,
What a nice post of books...
a nice quote by Martin Luther King and not so nice to hear this news...

I am deeply saddened to hear about that lay-off, but hopefully it will be very brief. I will be thinking of you.

Hey, Coffee, it might be time for you grab your rifle and step forward to lead the revolution!

I still fancy you as the next President and I'll come to America and work with you to turn things around. We'd make a great team.

P.S. Hope 2010 is kind to you, friend. You deserve it.

hh: It's true, 'cause you can see what we were all thinking about at that time, to be sure.

merle: Strange, there's work backing up, but they want to save $$$$. Makes no sense ; (

dd: Thanks. What can you say, it's part of life here in the usa now.

sam: Thanks.....it's awkward that we're behind on some work and new work has come in. But they are saving a wee bit by not paying our meager wages for 6 days ; (

And I hope all stays well for you and your family!

david: Ha, it would never work. We'd go down to ruin, although I'd gladly take the backseat to you being in charge ; )

Here's hoping good health returns next year for you!!!!
