In Oklahoma,
Bonnie and Josie,
Dressed in calico,
Danced around a stump.
They cried,
“Ohoyaho,
Ohoo” …

Of flesh and air.

Hi! C.M.,
Very Nice graphics...
Very Nice sounds...
Is the singer
Ellen Mcilwaine(Sp)?
I'am assuming that the singer is Ellen Mcilwaine?

I'am not familiar with her...just curious.
Thanks, for sharing!

You always brighten up the musical landscape, Michael and this McIlwaine composition brings back memories for me. She worked with Jimi Hendrix at one point, and the bluesy influence is discernible in her songs. One wouldn't be wrong to compare her to Carole King, and I remember her big album was called 'The Real Ellen McIlwaine." which I have heard.

Great stuff.

g & d: If she didn't, she should have.

mg: Thanks.

artS: Thanks 4 that.

dd: Yes, she's from Canada and has been recording since the late 60s , early '70s.

cg: Thanks.

sam: You still amaze me. I first heard her on kmpx in SF, the local underground station. This is from We The People. More like Bonnie Raitt (although not really) than to Carol King.

Dancing with such abandon. Could not pick up the reference that commenters made to a song.

anil p: Sorry. Once I put a new post up, I delete the song. Don't want the RIAA after me..........
