wow I kind of had a good darn rant about this topic...dealing with tough times...yes we all have our troubles but some of us just get more help along the way.

keith: I think there are some you tube videos of his concerts. This documentary is interesting though, since it shows a few more sides to him. Despite what may have looked "off kilter" to most, inside he had some creativity going on.

First heard of him via the old Dr. Demento Show but didna really explore beyond that. Worth checking out ;)

subT: Although he rambled at times, when lucid, he was in very good form. Kinda sad really, that so many people have such problems and can't find a control for it all.

Not familiar with Wesley Willis but that song has a good I don't give a damn quality to it. I liked it despite that I am a vegetarian! (lol).

john: Aside from drawing which seemed to keep him going, he was in a group, before he went out on his own. The draw I'm sure was his ability to simply say what was on his mind.
