Excellent music choice!! And once again your collage art is awesome! Your work is inspiring.

And I have to agree with your statement...this is a strange country we're living in.

Michael, I hope you had a relaxing Labor Day! I guess it's time now for many of us to get down to business. Ha! I never heard the music of this ambient group, the Joe Acheson Quartet, but I stayed with it, and have investigated further! Intriguing for sure, as is this great collage here!

mg: Getting stranger by the minute. Especially over the last year or so.

sam: Thanks for stopping by. He's now calling his group the Hidden Orchestra and has a new cd coming out soon. They're in the UK.

Thank you for introducing me to the Joe Acheson Quartet, too!

yes, your words in your collage are very apt now- esp. with elections coming up- the rhetoric is getting heated, hyped, and wilder day by day.

Hi! C.M.,

What a very interesting collage and very revealing.

It seems to be "saying" an endless cycle or circle.

The more things change the more things stay the same.

Nice sounds...Thanks, for sharing!

j: Yep, one way or another.

tt: Hey, Thanks.

layers: It's all pathetic, especially this latest goof ball in florida wanting to burn the Koran.

dd: Thanks for stopping by and taking a listen!

Strange days indeed. Here in Fla. we have a pastor who wants to burn the Koran and a rich businessman (Rick Scott)who reminds of Jack Nicholson's version of "The Joker" running for Gov., only he is running more against the President than he is against the other local candidates. He ran as an outsider, however since winning the Republican primary he has made nice with the political establishment and they have united. So much for being an outsider.

john: The goofball pastor = idiot.
Hard to imagine that people haven't picked up on the outsider really an insider. Maybe one day in our lifetime it'll change, but that's asking a lot I guess. Thanks for chiming in.

It's been a while! I dropped in to see what you've been up to. This collage is gorgeous, Michael! Once again you have done a great job!
Enjoy your day and make some fab art :-)

I did not originally understand this post when I first saw it. I hadn't yet heard about burning the Koran.

Now I get it. Thank goodness this man has been talked down from an incediary act. We have enough problems as it is.
