It's Interesting & not what I'd expected.
I though the first person along would pick all the money!
Also, I expected a pick-up truck & a guy with a shovel........trying to replant the tree in their garden!

Thank you for a wonderful start to my morning with this vid.
I'm not surprised at all by the reaction.....some take for granted that trees are in their path to enjoy just as a tree....much less with money on it.

Many people do not pay attention to their surroundings walking by oblivious to the world around them. Street criminals thrive on that and actually so do visual artists who pay attention to details that others do not.

The idea is so sweet, I just surprised why some people just passed by without even notice it. Then I begin to think that maybe we ignored so many amazing things/scenes in our life just because we so used to the normal routine. And sometimes afraid of changes.
This kind of behavior exists daily on the streets of New York, as the issue here is being "focused." The improbable could have taken hold in one's consciousness. Hence, any reaction is unsurprising.
I love, love the idea of the "money tree". Reminds me a bit of the famous violinist who set up and played in the New York subway, and rarely did anyone pay attention. I just keep thinking of the quote, "stop and smell the roses"....seems we are all in our own little worlds....maybe a bit too much...
How did I miss the Royksopp the last time I popped in. Totally good music...Royksopp's my latest crush! Thanks for the tunes to perk up my less than exciting evening. Always a pleasure visiting...
