Tate St. Coffee downtown
A tasty espresso and out of two
coffee places I've tried, I'll
gladly go 20 minutes to get there.

I finally made it to NC last sunday,
after a rather long detour through Ohio,
Tennessee & Kentucky. The storm that blew through
Ohio made driving slow and the highway was icy,
and quite a few areas you could not venture
off into another lane without sliding.
Hence the long detour.
I enjoyed seeing the latter states and trees
and windy roads. Only southern indy-anna
looks anything like that for the most part.
Next stop will be some Historical Sites,
once all the rain stops.
Hope ya'll are doing well!
Cheers!

glad you're safe- waiting for some pics to have with morning cuppas :)
Glad you made it and found a yummy coffee place. Things are still wintry here in pacific northwest too. Lots of rain and cold temps, but the hummingbirds arrived. All the way from Mexico, just to have a little sugar water on the Olympic Peninsula.
True Adventures! Keep us poted.Have A Good Trip.
betmo: Hello and hope all is well your way!
robin: Glad to hear the homestead is once again being taken care of. Hope Rogers back is better.
tony: Hello and Thanks!
I love the commocoffe, love it, love it, love it and the wacky gadgets site/blog. Too fun. Do you know of any steam punk sites?
Keep safe and find more good coffee.
We'll be on the road soon, too.
If you get a chance on the way back, you might want to check out Clingman's Dome Observation Tower, in the Smokies of East TN. I remember it from a trip during childhood as a hauntingly beautiful place.
decker: Thanks 4 the tip. Looks as though I'll be heading N through W Virginia this time. Wish I had the time 'cause the area looks interesting enough to take the time to visit!
cathy: Safe trip back to the west coast! Sorry, nothing punk I know of except my attitude sometimes! ; (
The Commocoffee is just whack. Safe travels!
phil: Where can I get the new and updated "Dictionary Of Slang?"
