I would rather suffer with coffee,

than be senseless.

Napoleon Bonaparte

another view

A new friend invited us to her house this morning.

We are making her a new business card,
and she will be helping us beautify
our home with wild & native plants.

She lives on a family farm, but the view in
any direction is amazing.

Once her garden sets in and we are invited
again, I will take more photos.

This area must have been amazing
100 years plus ago!

Reminds me of my youth in Nebraska. What a peaceful setting.

Hey, Coffee, loved the house. Reminds me of the one I lived in in Canada for three years.

Hope that life is treating you kindly. Have you planned your Doomsday Party yet?

Don't leave it too late now.

This looks a lot like where I live though homes are beginning to creep in.

Beautiful. I used to dream of living in a lovely house, but I'm pretty sure it would have happened by now if it was going to.

This is all the house one would need, and room for a kitchen garden.

some monster homes are coming to Nyack soon, more displaced wildlife, more drainage disasters.

This is what we're hoping for in Oregon City -- there's so much farmland still here, just outside Portland. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

As always, a bit of sanity in an otherwise crazy world, thanks to Coffee Messiah.

P.S. there's supposed to be good coffee here in Stumptown, but we haven't located it yet. Any suggestions?

phd: With all the green popping up after last weeks warmth, and now the rain, the area is in full bloom.

merle: It was and must be at night too, especially since there are no lights out to distract from the stars!

mary: It does and there are too many large farms here yet for that.

kurt: Never say never.

squirrel: Yep, that's a sad deal there and everywhere they do that nowadays. ; (

cathy: Glad you made it already. While in Seattle, we go to Vivace, but also hear Stumptown Coffee is pretty good! Cheers to you both!

I am an apartment lover myself, but a house like this would be great to spend a weekend in:)
