Feeling a bit like this myself -

Too many projects, not enough time
and the dog days of heat are
upon us yet again -

Hope ya'll are doing well!

I see the Midwest is suffering again. We've had a few days of nineties with high humdity and I wilt under it. We lived in Richmond, VA for quite a few years and I never became used to it.

Ahhhh....the dog days are here...but it happens to be raining here in Portland....feel lucky though, as I've seen sad reports of drought and oppressively hot weather in so many places....

CG: Howdy - and it continues - and through next week I understand - as a rule this lasts for a couple of days through the summer, this year, the humidity is bad. I miss the fog and sea breeze air at times like this -

Cynthia - yes, the drought in other parts of the World is terribly sad!

Tom - Fur sure -

DD - They can't come soon enough this year -

Megan - ; )

Very. We could could do with some heat back here at the moment, at least so we could see the Sun again, parting the monsoon clouds that haven't left Mumbai alone the last fortnight.

Anil P: Hope you are getting the much needed sunshine - still hot and humid here, both weather wise and politically ; (

I've heard about the politics there Michael (Ugh!) but I guess weather-wise you are enduring the same type of heat saturation as us city dwellers in the Northeast. It's funny how in winter people complain of the snow and hanker for the summer, only to take the opposite position when they are sweltering. It's always advisable to take advantage of those only-too-rare nice days, as it seems it's almost always of the extreme variety in these parts.

Hope all is well my friend.

Hopefully. But the rains and the monsoon clouds have still not let up on the city. Can't remember when I last saw sunshine, and it's over a month now :-)

Sam - Thanks and hopefully some cooling down soon, but doesn't appear so -

Anil P: Sorry to hear - early on, we had plenty of rain, and thought it would never end - but end it did - sadly, Somalia and other areas in the World surely have it all much worse than we do ; (
